When I was growing up in the 50s, photographs weren't all that common. I have quite a few from growing up, but nowhere NEAR the number that kids today will have - assuming the media the photos are saved on survives until their adulthood. Anyway, the earliest ones of me are all black & white, and most have those ragged edges. I don't have a lot of my son, either. Some, but not many. Cameras were still something of a luxury, especially if you were young and poor. His daughter has had her picture taken at least a million times. (Her mom's a photographer, so that helps.) Beautiful color e-photos. Many, many many of them.
