prom

what an incredible night.

so Prom was a fascinating experience. People were absolutely gorgeous and I was blown away with all the fancy schmancy dresses. Ami was wearing that dress that I found in VS which I was dying to wear, and she looked splendid. Dinner was expensively tasty, which it needn't be. I think from next year they should just order Taco Bell and have to pay Y500 for entrance fee.

I made Wataru dance with the help of Jessica who gave him a quick tutorial. :) I was so excited when Thriller came on and Will and I hollered for Jeannie, and then we got together to dance our routine. :D Also we were able to slip in a little swing dancing which Will and I awkwardly executed. It was fun nonetheless!

However, I was glad when the final song ended. I changed into the sweater I had bought at Musash yesterday and met Wataru at the stairs. We taxi-ed to RoppHills and watched the 12:05 showing of Babel, which was a complex but fascinating film. It would've been more captivating had I had more than five hours of sleep and not been with Wattsley, but the cinematography was remarkable. I'll probably watch it again on the DVD which I already own sometime this week.

The movie ended at three, we went to Starbucks and ran into Juliana and Nao, who are definitely the cutest Prom king/queens ever! They shared with us a little drama that was going on at After Prom. Then Eliott and Patrick came, and a few other people. Anyway, Watts and I chilled till bout 4:30, and then we walked around Hills, watched the sunrise and then rode the train back home at 6:30.

Got home, made my mom squeal with girlish delight, crashed till 2, at lunch with family at Kobeya, came home, crashed till 6, and finally reached the point where I can sit upright. I am really excited for FujiQ tomorrow!!!!!!! My only dismay is that most of the class, including Wataru and his soccer friends, aren't coming. But a whole day on roller coasters and horror rides with Kohei Kuwahara as the tour guide sounds very appealing! See you all tomorrow and hope the sun shines!
