Looking back, I realize that my mid-winter break was a lot more active than I had thought; it's pleasing to know that your vacation hasn't gone to waste (a common tendency for longer breaks). I actually really love it so far. I noticed most of it was spent with Will.
Yesterday was a big filming day.
willt,
therabbitsaid, Seiji and I trained to the outskirts of town to this humble little house that was built as a set for filming things. The actual scenes were nothing - basically simple dialogues like "Would you like something cold to drink?" "Yes, please" - but we did have to repeat ourselves quite a few times. Supposedly Seiji had most of the eating scenes so by the end of the day, he had scarfed down plates full of cookies, chocolates and pizzas.
There was more waiting going on, and this was far more fun than the actual recording process. I got
Will and
Seiji really into Babyjames' Mario World DS game and the two were competing all day to reach the top score. I can't believe how heated they got over the snowball rolling game. I have
tons of photos of Will on the DS, as well as pictures of
everyone's middle finger at my facebook. While the boys were busy doing that, Jessica and I had a lot of time to bond. It's really wonderful talking to her as she's so remarkably sincere and I've a lot to learn from her.
When it was all over, we trained back to Shinjuku and said bye to Jess. Then Will, Seiji and I headed for Fuchu to watch the Memoir and QTG live. On the train, I bombarded them with questions on ideal dates. We stopped by Royal Host for dinner and spent about 2 hours bonding - it was awesome seeing Will and Seiji recollecting memories from when they were buddies in the wee ages.
Around 6:30,
givethesignal and Dan joined us at the dinner table. They were being cute, Will and Seiji were back on my DS, and I was clicking away on my
video,
camera and 1UP! buttons.
Finally at a quarter to 8, we bundled up for the freezing walk to the Flight live house and jumped to
QTG with fellow ASIJ underclassmen.
The train ride home was mellow. I took pleasure in
paparazzi-ing the couple and chatting with Seiji like the good ol' days. When I got home I was deaf, drained, and stunk of smoke.
This morning I woke up and was still half deaf. I've wasted more than enough time now so I'm going to get going with my ENORMOUS LOAD OF AP ART CATCH UP WORK. D: Sorry for all the links. I went crazy with my camera yesterday.
