Big Wheels Keep On Turnin'
I seem to forget my blog theme the moment I sit down to write then end up with a post that amounts to little more than verbal diarrhea.
Went to the 24 hour grocery store last night. Bought an obscene amount of junk food and a couple of veggies. I now understand why poor people eat shiznit food: it's cheaper and (fat is so yummy sometimes). I love my veggies but I still get sticker shock when I walk into a produce section of any market in Virginia.
(Which is worse, not being to afford to buy a house in California or not being able to afford vegetables in Virginia? lol)
So the supermarket had a dragon display with free cookies for kids. I thought the sign said "Geoffrey Dragon's Magic Cookies" and had a purple dragon. (it didn't.)
Decided to finally do the deed and cut my hair. It's shoulder length now. I had it Japanese thermal straightened last year this time. (Great if you're thinking about doing it but very damaging to hair). I found a girl named Mona who also has curly hair to cut it.
I have naturally curly hair. Like Scary Spice and Cree Summer, curly, springy corkscrew curls. I've worn it curly. I like my curls except that I never know what to do with my hair and I don't like big hair. I will be cutting about 5-6 inches off (the straight stuff) and leaving the curly stuff. Chin length if I blowdry. I have no idea how short when curly. As long as it's not big, I should be okay. Then the looooooong, slooooooow process of growing it out (since it will take 3-4 times longer to catch any length).
Will take photos once I do it.
Talked to Biscuit via IM again. (I've finally decided to stick with that for his nickname.) "Jailbait" was too negative. "Rubberduckie" was amusing but I keep singing the Sesame Street song when I write it and that makes me feel like a pedophile. "Biscuit" is a nickname his dad used to call him. Coincidentally, mine called me that too. So, I'm becoming convinced we're twins. Our birthdays are 4 days apart (and 11 years but who's counting?), we're both Geminis with Capricorn moons, we're both INFJ (with similar percentages on each feature) on the Myers-Briggs. It will be interesting to get to know him better.
