B-T Night #23 / DOUBT 002 / J - 2009/09/13 恵比寿 Liquidroom; Tokyo, JP
Last Friday, a friend from work went with me to Buck-Tick night in Motoyawata... We ate at a decent tex-mex place by the station, then got quite confused trying to find the place afterwards, since both sides of the station look the same, w/ a cul de sac bus/taxi area and a McDonald's in damn near exactly the same place relative on each side... o_O; Oh well.
Made our way in around 9 just as they'd started the first "stage" (i.e. set)- sat through that, then I signed up for Angelic Conversation (which I forgot parts of, despite having the score in front of me -_-;) & 残骸 (for which I again couldn't really hear myself T_T;)... got through those & my friend was like "OK, I gotta get outta here- it's too smoky, my eyes are watering!" And he's a freakin' SMOKER. I had to duck out onto the stairs between every set, & go wash my face every couple hours the whole night.... T_T; Anyway. After that I did Jupiter (the new song for the month), which I learned quickly right before... and then afterwards one of the better guys came over & showed me a different chord position for the 2 main chords that sounds better & is the one Hoshino actually uses- sweet! And boo for the score book. :P" After that did ミウ & 唄.. didn't sing anything this time. Oh, but I hopped on keys for ROMANCE again, since it never occurs to anyone that there's a keyboard part (that, and/or nobody else plays). Got home, threw my nasty-ass foul smelling clothes directly into the washer & jumped in the shower before hitting the bed around 6:30am or so...
...And then woke up around 11 to go to- DOUBT ("Darkness Our Under Buck-Tick" (yeah, yeah, it's Japan), another Buck-Tick session)! >_< Had 惡の華 & 見えない物, plus Angelic Conversation again (which I messed up- again- but in a different part this time >_<;).
Sunday was J!
This weekend (which is LONG- yay "silver week!") is TWO Luna Sea sessions- I'll be doing TEN songs total (3 are repeats, so not TOO bad, but still- 7 new songs! *o*;). Then Monday is VIDEO GAMES LIVE!!!!1 w/ Jake & Sabrina. And then on Wed. there's a J talk event at the Shibuya Tower Records- but we only got one "invitation" postcard back (w/ my name), so Girl's [REDACTED] about it... T_T; Then 2 days of work before what I think is the first weekend in at least 4 or 5 without a session or a concert (since early JULY that I won't have ANYthing planned). o_O;
