J - 2008/08/11 渋谷O-East; Tokyo, JP
First off, I'm in the new SLAVE booklet!!!1one o_O; Along with JOSH, who's half-turned away. Poor Girl is just off camera... apparently I happened to be right on the edge of the frame fanning myself when they were taking a picture of a couple cosplayers before the film gig at O-East last August (which I apparently didn't mention anywhere... o_O;). Good thing Girl joined, or I probably wouldn't have ever seen it!
Second, the J show:
Oh, and after the show, when I went back up & ripped all the bags out of the coin locker, apparently my Qoo pin fell off, & 2 girls picked it up & then one was like "Hey- do you like Oblivion Dust?" & I'm like "Huh?" thinking "I don't have any OD stuff on..." but then I was like "Oh, were you at the show?" "Yeah, I saw you there!" "Oh cool! Were you at the FAKE? show, too?" "Yeah!" & then talked a bit about other bands until Lillian showed up a minute later to get to HER locker, & we all awkwardly moved out of the way, & I headed into the bathroom to wash my face & put the legs back on my pants (they're detachable via zippers, which is nice for shows, but GAWD I look stupid w/ my work shoes & black socks on w/ essentially long shorts >_<; need to wear my tennis shoes tomorrow)... Had thai food after the show (shock) w/ Girl, Evon & Tina. Saw 3 Germans sitting outside w/ "need tickets" signs before the show, and they all made it in, so I guess there were a few more people w/ extras that didn't use mixi to get rid of 'em... STILL haven't found any for Nagoya (Sat.) yet, and I'm even seen 3 in 2 auctions go for ¥26,000 each on yahoo... o_O; GAR.
OH, and I ordered GACKT tickets today. o_O; First tour in 3 years, and he's got FIFTY-TWO SHOWS, but they're all at like 1300-seat venues (yes, I made the map, and yes, I know I'm a dork, but hey- when all they list is the freakin' venue name, how the fuck am I supposed to know if it's close enough to go to? Unless the venue name has "Okinawa" in it or some other obvious city name... Like I'm supposed to know offhand where Morioka is?). The first show is limit 1 ticket, so of course I have to wait for the general sale and HOPE I can actually get 'em. The ticket ordering thing SUCKED, though, 'cause it was PHONE-ONLY. And the number didn't work from my work phone, so I had to sit there w/ my cell, hitting redial between alternating busy signals & 「ただ今大変込み合っています」(the network is busy, please try again) messages. And then finally get through, and have to sit there waiting through the 2m long recording of some chick reading all the rules & info crap before it'll let me start punching numbers, and then having to call back again for the other 3 Tokyo shows. T_T; Damn, that's gonna be expensive- 4 shows * 2 tickets * ¥7000 + fees... >_<; GAR. AND I had to pay city taxes this month, which kicked my ass, AND my teiki expires tomorrow, AND we've got shinkansen tickets & a hotel in Kansai to pay for this weekend... and who knows what other shows will be coming on sale this month... -_-; Argh. Stupid money.
But now- bedtime. Another early shift & concert tomorrow, and I was dead enough today... -_-;
