- oh, but this is too good. it is noise like a forest fire, that singe and crackle, that boom-thud-thud under your feet, the tightness in your skin, OH, and the cool breeze of her voice moving through it all, fanning it brighter faster quicker. more more more, this is the good kind of too much.
Dirty Projectors: stillness is the move (video) if Sleigh Bells is forest fires, this song is too clearly mountain streams. or else, this video is where the people from the Yeasayer video go to get away from the city smog/noise pollution. or else, it is where I want to live forever, dance moves, spinny guitarists, and clothing included.
Animal Collective: my girls (video) okay so honestly I have one of their albums and was a little off-put by it? NOT BY THIS THOUGH. pretty pretty pretty.
clearly I need a new music primer. *hands* I kinda thought I was down with the music kids these days are list- you know what, nevermind. I'm going back to listen to some more noise. carry on, all, and please try to forget that I JUST learned about these fabulous sounds.
