wooo... got back from athens yesterday.
it was a really fun weekend, it was nice getting to hang out with troy.
we went to a bunch of shows..
i finally got to see we march! it was a very rad show, and holy shit, the jacknife powerbombs played with them! how rad is it that i just happened to be in athens the same day as one of my favorite cleveland bands?
um, what else..
oh! i went to this other show the night i got there, the launderettes from norway, the gore gore girls from detroit, and this athens band the drop dead sons.
DDS were very very uber radtastic.
rock n roll.
ok, so their singer, this guy scott, he's also the music manager at the union.. i got to talk to him for a while after the show, and he was really cool.
and although he's WAY older than me, and i feel really dirty thinking it.. i was strangely attracted to him. it was weird. i think it was the suit.. hahah. (they were also wearing zorro masks for part of the set.) he's also in this band called geraldine, who i saw the last time i was in a-town at blackoutfest last year.
during that show this kid took a couple pictures of me before i noticed, and i was like 'why are you taking pictures of me dude?'
and he's like 'because you look interesting! *click* is that okay, sargeant?'
so i said it was and he took like 3 more and showed them to me on the little screen thingy. weird, but still fun.
i also got to talk to zach from we march for a while.. he's really nice, he gave me a free cd... that was really cool of him. (he's another one of the many, many cute athens boys!)
and oh! mixtape boy!
troy's friend jim hung out with us for a bit.. i have such a stupid teenage girl crush on him... he's so sweet! and troy left a message here earlier, playing a message that jim left on HIS machine, talking about how much he liked meeting me and shit, and i was all red-faced and embarassed and played it like 10 times. hahah, i'm such a fucking loser. *hangs head*
we watched the big lebowski at sean (from watch rilke)'s house with suzanna (who i LOVE!)
and yes.. i did some shopping, and met lots of cool people and cute boys.
i got home yesterday afternoon, and then went to denny's w/ amy, and then went back to her house.
we went to the park and played truth or dare, and i ended up making out with dave on a dare. haha, it was fun. he's very pretty.
he also came out to us that he was bi.. it was no big deal. wasn't too terribly surprised. lol he was like 'yeah when i was in boston, i almost hooked up with my friend will. oh, did i tell you guys that i'm bi? because i am.'
hah, that was in interesting way of going about telling us.
but yea... all in all, it was a fun weekend, and a much-needed break from my fuckface parents, who are in amish country or some shit right now.
ps- KTO- don't worry about me! i don't want you to feel bad because of me. i'm ok, really.. i just post when shit happens with the 'rents.. i'm not constantly as depressed as i sound in some of my entries. okie? it's aaaaallll good.
