latin is great
we're translating catullus now, and i noticed that his sixth poem in the collection was skipped in our books, and parker said because it was sort of dirty. he has this book of catullus poems translated into, like, modern slang english and one of the lines read "your love-handles have disappeared because you're fucking her so hard!" and "you're all tired because of your incessant nighttime acrobatics" hahah im so glad i picked latin over spanish, i havent conjugated a verb in years!! gotta go!
