(no subject)
I don't know if the whole "baby-having" trend is a result of the media, making pregnancy fashionable, or if it's just sheer coincidence that we're in the midst of another baby boom when movies and television shows centered around pregnancy and babies seem to be something "fun" and "cool."
This could just be a personal issue; I may just be noticing these things now because I've got a kid of my own, and it still kinda freaks me out. However, I have noticed several people that I went to high school with getting pregnant, and while I am happy for them, and I know it's their choice... I still want to punch a lot of people firmly in the trachea. Myself included.
There wasn't really a point to this post... It's just been something that's bothered me for a very long time, and I thought it would help to get it off my chest.
