You ever have one of those days that just feels like a waste? Well, today is one of those days.
Although I did get some of my homework done. That was a nice change...
Anyway, while I was working on my papers, my mom received a phone call from a friend of hers. Said friend had a ticket (ERP $300) to some kind of get together at Richard Garriot's House.
Richard "Lord British" Garriot. The guy who created friggin' Ultima. The man who is basically responsible for the whole MMORPG hoopla, and is about to release Tabula Rassa (unless he has already.) In a nutshell, he's sort of a big deal in the gaming community.
I couldn't make it due to my homework. First Oni-Con, now this. However, if I were in Houston, I would gladly make the trip back that very moment, granted that I could hang out at "Britania Manor" Yeah, it's a cozy little spot off of 360 and the lake. On top of that, everyone else is either at the RenFair, or just having fun with their friends.
I am the gloomiest little boy in Austin. And that is why I write in my LiveJournal. Later to come tonight, a pity party while I listen to Dashboard, crying in a corner while I cut myself, and painting my fingernails black after I finish with that last coat of eye shadow. Then about two hours of Inuyasha on Adult Swim while wondering why I can't find true love with a half-demon, dog boy.
