Good wishes. Sadness. :(
Seems like a sudden bout of sadness and difficulty for lots of people I know. My dad's in a tight spot both personally and professionally. Watched a couple kids in the playground being totally ignored by their father... who nevertheless was probably going on a limb getting them to the playground at all by the look of things.
More sadly I just found out that the reason that an acquaintance of mine from the Castro- an incredibly sweet guy who lived that neighborhood, was an awesome nanny and ran a shop wasn't answering his phone about babysitting Elise was that he died of a heart attack the weekend before last. He was an incredibly sweet guy who made friends with everyone. Just sadness. So sudden and random. :(
Watching so many people on the street, aware of so many foreclosures, job losses, etc. Just wishing the world well. More reminders that Topher and Elise and are incredibly fortunate- health, love, family, friends, house... Wishing well to everyone having tough times.
