Oi! Come to Dickens!
Right- this is the official Dickens is here, get off your arse (or clear a hole in your mad schedule) and come! For those of you not familiar- it's a Victorian Faire in the world of Charles Dickens.

There is a brand new society this year- they have stretched our time scale in one particular area to accommodate Jules Verne, and thus steam punk. Yay. :)
There is also the usual stuffs- ballroom dancing and tea, dodgy sailors and pirates, the Naughty French Postcards show, pubs, Dark Garden's mechanicals in the window (with new higher windows!), and of course Mad Sals with it's can-can troupe, general naughtiness and new and improved resident Scum (which includes yours truly).
I won't be there fri or sat, or the last weekend, so come some other time to visit. One thing though- I will not drop character in public, and I've got a character that might creep you slightly (she's a bit bent, a bit harsh, not evil, but the switch might be creepy).
I also have makeup that makes the face look like I haven't slept or have been doing horrible drugs. It's the makeup, I haven't suddenly developed a host of horrible problems you have to inquire after. I got so much concern last year I almost stopped wearing it, so this time just please believe me it's the makeup.
