In response to the gentleman below...

Here is my diet which I more or less follow to a very precise level. Things may fluctuate a bit but it's either slightly less or slightly more than this in grams.

Meals 1-4 33g protein and 9g of fat.
Meals 5-6 33g protein and 69g of carbs.

Timing is about 2-3 hours apart.

1-4 consists of some sort of lean meat which is normally 99% of the time boneless skinless chicken breasts baked with some sort of seasoning this alternates throughout the day with protein shakes. The fat comes from either flaxseed oil, natural peanut butter or an omega 3-6-9 supplement.

Meal 5 is a post workout meal consisting of whey protein and dextrose (the crap in pixie sticks).

Meal 6 is real food chicken and potatoes or whole grain pasta or I might sneak out to a mexican place and get some soft chicken tacos or something of that nature.

I take a handful of vitamins and supplements including ALC, MSM/Glucosamine, multi-vitamin and some thermogenics for general energy.

I work out generally in the morning doing cardio although I am hitting this anywhere from 60-90% of the time. Then after work I go and do weight training four days a week. On the three days where I don't weight train I don't have the protein/dextrose shake and basically have Meal 6 for Meal 5 and then for Meal 6 have a protein/fat meal again.

As far as not seeing much change it's actually fairly drastic but I could see where someone just wandering on here could look and not see much of anything. I mean I still am overweight, I still have a gut, etc. They are much smaller than what they were from last year and a good bit smaller from my July pictures. This point goes back to the idea of patience and not being able to tell changes in yourself over a period of time. The changes come slow and in small doses but one day you realize that the pants that were tight are now loose and the pants that were loose are now nearly unwearable. So I can see where you'd say that but it's just a slower process. I also stalled out for the better part of 7 months. I should be much further along than I am.

I love/hate the hair. I like the back of it. I don't like the part in the front and the way it looks when it's combed and neat. It is sort of fun when it's all wild and crazy. It's also a pain in the ass to upkeep and it gets in the way at the gym. I work in an office and wear polo shirts and button downs all day and it just looks painfully out of place about 99% of the time.
