Have you ever seen Zero-Punctuation? It's a British guy who lives in Australia and reviews a new game each week. Often without taking a breath it seems, thus the title. Biting wit, scathing humor, and slightly-better-than-stick-figure graphics abound!

Not too long ago, he reviewed Resident Evil 5, and had a lot of the same things to say as you did. It's worth checking out.
