from the other side...
Like most grocery stores, the temperature of the one I work in is only kept slightly above freezing on any given day of the year. We all know the story, hot and steamy weather outside, and you walk into the freezer to buy your groceries.
The deli I work in has a hot case where we keep 15 varieties of chicken and fried potatos for everyone's munching needs. It's not uncommon to find people warming their hands on the glass. As the weather has become warmer, people tend to wear less clothing, so the hand-warming has escalated to people actually leaning and in some cases draping themselves across the hot case to warm themselves.
All and all it's just kind of funny, especially when people come back several times.
