Who knew?
Succumbed to another stupid meme thing. Mental note: Discuss annoyingness of Dawkins giving a name to things like this. Well, he also meant it for things that were a little more important, or at least widespread. But still...
According to the Which Star Trek Character Are You? quiz, I'm Will RIker. Who knew? There are worse characters to be, of course. Though I had a few problems with some of the questions. Like "Do you have a thick accent?" Um. Only when I'm away from home. Does that count? And "Are you shy with women?" Not really, no. I often was with men while I was single, but that wasn't the question. But hey, at least I get the blurb: "At times you are self-centered but you have many friends. You love many women, but the right woman could get you to settle down."
Speaking of being gay, one other thing struck me as funny. The question "Have you been in the closet for years" gives points toward Mr. Sulu. I hadn't realized that George Takei coming out meant that Sulu was gay. Or that anyone who was gay and hiding it would necessarily be more like Mr. Sulu. Who knew?
