Today's casualty
Happened on the way to the subway, going out to see The Sound of Music. No time to turn back and glue it. I tried to jam them back together but the friction hold was tenuous and after losing the heel 5 more times, I just stuck the heel in my bag and toed the rest of the way there. Standing around became a pain, and the lack of arch support was noticeable on the way home (I didn't want to crush the sticky-outy bits on the actual shoe), but walking was actually more comfortable than it looks. I've got enough Shoe Goo and epoxies lying around; I'll get around to wire-brushing and gluing it sometime.
