McCain Vs. Obama Dance-Off - I think I've been saying since 2000 that presidential debates should be replaced by dance-offs. It would be more entertaining to watch (and almost as informative).
Work has been progressing well. In about 7 workdays, I completed a training exercise that involved writing two applications, in different programming languages, that will communicate over the network. Which wouldn't really be that big of an accomplishment, except that we have no documentation (that we are aware of) on how our networking functions actually operate, save a listing of what the individual commands are (and, in a few cases, what their return values are). While about halfway through the project, I realized that this is basically matches the requirements for the Java Developer certification test, aside from the obvious difference, that it is written in different programming languages.
