I finally bit the bullet and created a MySpace profile. I have absolutely zero intention to use it; it just seemed like something I'd have to do sooner or later. I'm "thoughtspiral" over there, too.

MAN does that website love its banner ads.

I've just got it so I can read any friend-locked MySpace pages that come up in the future.

I know your intentions, for mine were the same. I just intended to have a MySpace to talk to my cousins, friend Justin, and yoga instructor. But soon, I got bored. And I found more cousins and friends. And I got a background. And I got a pet penguin. And I started a blog. And I put up more pictures. Soon, it just became fully developed. I know your intentions, but development of your MySpace is inevitable.

Heh, yeah, I've had an account there for ages, but I hardly use it. The original idea was to keep up with like one friend and check out new music.

It worked that way for a while, and then the flood of people I know kept dragging me in. I convinced them all that LJ or some other method was better, and things were fine again. And then a whole new crop of people I know discovered I had a profile. . . Gah.

I hate MySpace. It's an abomination, but people end up there eventually.
