Her family is a disaster. And it is all Jack’s fault.

“It’s all your fault Jack!”

She imagines he’s regretting placing this phone call right about now (because she would be). “I’m sorry Lemon.”

She expected many things when she finally talked to Jack after that disastrous night, but an apology was not one.

“You’re sorry?”

“Yes, of course. I knew my mother had plans to ruin your family dinner and I did very little to stop her.”

I love this. The all-dialogue format is so much fun, and I think you perfectly captured what the aftermath might have been between Jack and Liz.

Haha, this was so on-character for Liz and Jack! Beautiful dialogue, and I love that Liz wanted Jack to go all out to stop his mother.
