That's right! My OUAC account now states that I have achieved (though I have still yet to receive) my high school diploma! And this updated version also notes that my community involvement is completed. Phew! I must say, good ol' Streetsville really pulled through for me. And Mr. Pasemko got my marks changed! I owe that man my life...or perhaps just the scholarship money. Either way, he tops my 'favourite people' list. I shall sing the praises of Pasemko 'til the end of my days. I wish I could do something to repay him for that. I suppose the best thing would be to visit and to do well in school. I know it doesn't seem like much, but teachers are weird that way.
I went to Jessie's today and I was thisclose to stealing her newspaper and leaving forever. I rang the bell, knocked on BOTH doors and even thought about entering her backyard. Ah yes, and I called her house. I reckon a good ten minutes went by before she opened the door. I gave her the newspaper and ran away crying. No. I did give her the newspaper, but I laughed off the frustration and the emotional pain (yeah right) and went inside. We met Vicky in the park and had an enjoyably lazy time watching Spanish guys play el futbol in el parco. I hope that was Spanish. If not...it wasn't supposed to be.
My soccer team won Friday night (hoo-ray!) and I played smart, if not well. I was very happy with the night, although I opted not to spend time with my wonderful friends. I just feel so guilty when I make my parents drive me places...especially at times when I know they'd rather be sleeping. Anyhow, that's what really happened. My sister and I walked to Timmy's and that was alright. I like spending time with her and I like walking, so it was win-win. I'm sort of tired and it's not even 9. Maybe I'll be able to get back into the regular swing of things by going to bed tonight instead of tomorrow.
