hellooooo I read it all. as you probably expected i would. and I respect everything you say, and a lot of it makes sense to me...questionoing/doubt all that is totally going to happen and there's no way of stopping it. and i will gladly talk to you about stuff if you have questions. However, the one thing that does bother me about one thing you do, is how when i wrote that last entry, you came back with something that REALLY wasn't that relevant to what i was even talking about. i was sharing something for myself, and for others who believe in teh same things to possibly get some encouragement/whatever out of it, and you come back with just an uncalled for comment in my mind. It didn't make me mad, but i just didn't think that it was that necessary. That's my only complaint Zac. So just be careful, and i know you try, that when you are discussing beliefs with people, that you don't end up making them feel like a worthless peice of crap afterwords. That is all. And you know, a lot of people who DO have their beliefs set in stone and are confident in them, aren't going to let a few scientific facts/biblical errors change those, because faith is a lot more than just that.
i suppose that comment was a little unrelated, but it wasnt from my perspective at the time. i think its absurd to base your life around a book with so much garbage in it. thats all i was saying.
and i know people arent just going to change their beliefs because someone lays down the facts that contradict their beliefs. but that is exactly the problem. i dont think faith is a good justification for believing in anything, especially not something that people base their lives around. for example, if a group of people dedicated their lives to preparing the earth for the return of aliens, most people would require them to give some sort of proof before they considered their claims to be at all valid and worth living by. for me, its exactly the same with any religion.
