Thank god for the upcoming winter break. I've got 3 more days of school and 2 more days of work, and then i'm clear until next semester. I've been waiting for this break for quite awhile now, as i've felt my physical and emotional health deteriorate over the last few months. I'm hoping this rest is enough to get me through one last semester at Brookdale. After that i'm taking at least a month off before i start looking for a job. At this point i'm planning on spending a week or so wandering around the national parks of the extreme norteastern states in June, but we'll see. The current plan (sure to be modified again, and again, and again...) is to spend a couple more years up here working, saving up money, and paying off my student loans. Once i feel comfortable with my savings level, i plan on moving south, most likely to Louisiana. There i'll be saving up money to buy my own home.
It seems i may have a knack for beating low limit heads-up tournaments. I'm hoping to move up in levels as i continue to win, so these games can supplement my 5 card draw income. I'm still holding out hope that i'll find a brick-and-mortar casino game that i can beat dependably, but in the meantime diversifying my online play can only help.
I've finally watched Gone With The Wind. A little(!) over-dramatic for my taste, but otherwise i thought it was very good.
I love
Richard
