Ah... Well, I must say that I'm grateful for the blank book, but I was a touch disappointed to see that it wasn't actually a copy of Physiologus. Not that I'm ungrateful, you understand! I was in need of a new blank book to keep notes in! It's just an interesting choice of cover... Is it supposed to inspire the recipient to write their own bestiary, perhaps?
Oh! The cookies I set out were eaten! Is that usual? I didn't know the legends about Saint Nicholas (or Santa Claus?) and such were actually true! Or maybe it's just this place? Did anyone else have this sort of thing happen?
