Mistletoe is an obligate hemi-parasitic. It draws mineral nutrients from its host and will sometimes strangle the life out of it to its own eventual detriment. Yes, after kissing my cold and lifeless body, any further demonstrations would indeed not be that weird.
There is very little that would be as weird as that, I think.
