My baby jungle boa hasn't been eating well since I'd gotten her. She should be eating hoppers (small juvenile mice) but seems to be really intimidated by the size of them. She's only eaten a few on her own, and I finally had to forcefeed her a couple fuzzies (baby mice that've just grown fur).
She was so weak she couldn't swallow them on her own. I had to squeeze them down her throat like a toothpaste tube.. after that, she kind of went limp and stopped breathing for about 20 minutes, but was still a little responsive. I thought for sure she was going to die, but she pulled through, amazingly.



I should have put an object in there for size comparison, but I didn't think about it.. The round part of her head is about the size of a nickel.
