Cantata
This weekend I took part in the cantata held by Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church of the Cross. We're located on the same campus, and share our common spaces. I'm a tenor in the HCCC adult choir, and a self-professed musical sheep. So of course, I'm placed right in the middle of the choir, where I can hear everyone EXCEPT my fellow tenors. I managed to sing well anyway. :P
The event was highly successful, and even made the local news. I think the best part was the last two songs of our performance this afternoon, when we knew that we had absolutely nailed the performance. There was definitely an energy to the singing that wasn't there last night.
