I've spent the last couple weeks fighting off pneumonia. I know this because I woke up last Monday morning coughing so hard I had blood in my mucus. One visit to the ER later, I was on antibiotics and home for three days. The rest of the week was spent trying to make up most of the time lost.

Given that my bouts with bronchitis/pneumonia are starting to become annual events, I'm seriously considering the vaccine, even if the insurance company won't spring for it. It has to be cheaper and easier in the long run...
