DIBS'D-UPON (which by the way, is the official, canonical spelling, so says me, because I'm the one that made it): when it's like, Dude, I don't know if I wanna date or anything just yet, but I like you man, so don't fuck no one til I get back!; also, referring to an individual who has been dibs'd-upon. Used in a sentence: "Hey, really cute, really nice, but really drunk girls, quit trying to get up on my friend over there, she's been dibs'd-upon by this chick coming back up from New Orleans!"
