A low point in retail

Oct 28, 2006 12:00

Yesterday, some parents bought Grand Theft Auto for their four year old. We tried everything to get them to not buy it, and I went so far as to get someone else to ring it up, because I have my limits. The worst part was the parents:

"He does not play kids' games, he plays adult games."

He's four. He's got a long way to being an adult. Let him enjoy the kid stuff while it's still appropriate and relevant for him!

What happened yesterday was a failure of humanity.
