you keep me without chains
lessons learnt: bravery, courage.
to let go of something that was never mine to begin with, to do the hard thing - because sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same, to trust in myself, that i was (and continue to be) enough, to believe, believe that i was (and am) worth it, to pursue my dreams and to stop being timid.
to grow deep before branching out - for if you know what you stand for, you won't fall for just about anything.
to learn to never stop learning and to continually seek knowledge - for the fish that stops swimming sinks.
to be patient, for good things take time.
to live, and not to watch life pass by from the sidelines.
to love, and realise that i'm defined not by the love that i receive but by the love that i give.
but most importantly, to have faith, and know that when things are not going my way, it is because they are going His way, and His way is better than mine. to trust that He knows better than me what is good for me, and to believe, that above all else, everything is unfolding just as it should.
