Eh, today kinda was not so kool after all. I woke up at 8 to grab the bus (which btw, only comes by now every 45 minutes X_X) so I could get to job orientation at 9 at Snelling to get a job. I had talked to the lady at the personell department down there on Monday and she said they were kinda full at Snelling, but that I could probably get in at one of the other dining halls. So I was like, "Ok, sounds kool." I mean, I'd rather work at Snelling since I already have, I have some friends working there, and it seems the most convienent place for me, but working at another dining hall wouldn't be too bad either really so whatever. So I get there today for orientation (which I've already been to the first time I worked at Snelling before, but whatever) and guess what? Just kidding! We don't have any jobs open for students. That's just silly! We're completely full everywhere student-wise, unless you want to work full time for Snelling. Come back in June if you want and we might be able to squeeze you in somewhere. Have a nice day! Hahahaha, I laughed, it was soooooooooo funny. Joke's on me! Silly Carmine, Trix are for kids! Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, go directly to jail! Yay! (intensely bitter, dripping sarcasm burns away a hole in my soul) Sorry, but that really annoyed me. I mean, the lady basically didn't know what she was talking about and just lied to me, probably unintentionally b/c when I got there, there was another lady who told me that they were not hiring, I assume it washer boss, but still, unintentional or not, it still kinda sucks. I was really banking on that job so I could get money and food and stuff and not starve to death, but that's ok, I like being poor. It makes me happy. And starving is really under-appreciated anyways. (again, another hole from the caustic sarcasm) Bleh, it would have been better if I had not been misinformed and wasn't expecting too much, stop expecting anything above the worst case scenario you dummy!, and maybe I was, but I think, logically speaking, I wasn't over-assuming too much really b/c food services always hires students during the normal semesters at least and the lady talked like I could probably find something somewhere, just not perhaps at Snelling. There was also another girl there who was there for orientation too, I assume she was a student but I am not sure, and if she filled up the last spot for student jobs, then that would kinda annoy me even though it wasn't her fault really. Just when I thought things were starting to look up for me and that I was on my way to getting on top of things, something like this happens...eh...whatever. I'm probably overreacting here b/c the people said I could prolly get a job for the thru session in June down at ECV or something but still...I kinda really really need a job now for quite a number of reasons which I won't discuss online. Now I'll either have to wait or try to find some other job here in Athens which apparently, from what I've heard from my friends in the same situation, looks rather grim and bleak. Anyone happen to know any place that's hiring or anything? Yay for stress! Yay for not fixing more sources of stress! Yay for all the wonderful things stress does for me! Yay for people that lie when they don't know what they're talking about! Yay for getting screwed royally! (Again, the sarcasm, which comes from the Greek sarkazein, to bite the lips/flesh in rage...how appropriate...). There's more stuff for me to complain/vent about, but I've probably ripped your ears enough with this entry anyways so I'll just be quiet and save it for later.
Again, I apologize for all that sarcasm X_X But anyways, on a more positive note, at least I figured out some solutions to some problems, such as the apartment, and I have been hanging out/talking on AIM with some of my friends so that is good. I also modified some of my Yugioh decks on my game to make then even more awesome and unstoppable than they were before, although they are still able to be defeated by the really hard guys like Seto Kaiba, but we'll fix that *evil grin* ;) I also did almost all my laundry, which is pretty good for me considering how much I loathe that chore. So I have been more productive than normal and I should be happy for that, but eh, I still have a ways to go. Emma is also fine and just as "unique" as ever. ;) The campus is also very abandoned and so there are not a lot of people crowding everything up which is good. I'm here at the SLC and I'm one of about 4 people on this level so that's kinda nice. Man, I'm finding it kind of hard to think up blessings to be thankful for, but oh well, I suppose it will get better as time goes on. Eh...whatever.

And what is up with this tagging survey jank going around here on livejournal? I mean, just b/c someone "tags" you, you have to drop whatever you're doing and answer the survey and then "tag" your other friends, 5 of them no less, forcing them into unwilling servitude as well? Man, at this geometrical rate of growth, this thing sounds like a plague more than a fun, innocuous survey... So when I saw I was tagged, I was like, "Well screw that! I'm not gonna do some stupid, dum survey just b/c somebody 'tagged' me. I've got things to do, people to see, problems to fix, world peace to create! And I'll be darned if I have to do some dum little survey just b/c I was 'tagged'!"

QuizFarm.com I agree with Jeff here. This is just the "none of the above" answer given to people that don't fall into nicely defined boxes of spirituality/religion. Makes sense though for me as I'm very religious/spiritual, but just in my own way. But the quiz seems ok all in all.
