Here's an analysis of the original English, the Latin, and roughly the direct translation of the Latin. Interesting.

The translation from Latin back into English is flawed in places. At the very beginning, anyway: Quo in capite does not mean "in our heads," it means "in which chapter." But the idea is worth pursuing: certainly the Latin text does not always match the English in exact sense.
