Grey's Anatomy is all that is good and heart breaking in the world

Seriously, just seriously wonderful episode. I'd write a proper reaction post but it would main be insane smiles and hand waving. Instead short bullet points of things I loved.

1. ZOLA!!!!!

Just this, this all of the time. Mere and Der being such parents. Not having the camera on at the right moment. Mere taking her in to view surgeries. All of the love. Just all of the love. I actually especially love Derrick struggling with the camera. Mainly because I've really been enjoying watching my family's own home films lately. Though my parents managed to capture my little sisters first steps. :-)

2. All the little subplots, seriously this is one of the episodes that really show cases the writers ability to deal with such a large cast. About the only person who didn't get a huge look in was Avery. But, bless him, that is usually the case. I just loved it all. The Chief pawning Alex. Callie and Arizona being such a married couple. I adored their little scene at the end. Lexie missing Mark... well I could do without that, but you still got her talking to the parents of the patients of the week.

3. I'm not going to call Christina and Teddy's scenes a sub plot. Cause they weren't. It was very, very good. An excellent way of handling it. Especially the last scene because... oh if you've watched it you know why.

4. The whole theatre metaphor. It pleased my inner drama geek muchly.
