(no subject)
So myself and two siblings pull into the driveway after running errands (mind you, we'd just spent 45 minutes making a 15/20 min drive because of the snow and slush)... only to find my mom shoveling the new snow off the driveway... because she'd somehow locked herself out of the house.
She'd already been inside then managed to lock herself out, despite the fact that the door UNLOCKS when you open it [ugh, don't ask how she did this, but I could see her damn keys lying right on the table through the window]
So I get to be the heroine, and go to unlock the door... only to find that mom had hung something heavy enough on the doorknob on the inside, so the knob wouldn't turn enough to let the mechanism unlock.
SO I ended up [in my sneakers] climbing over/through the 4 foot snow hills in the front yard to go in the FRONT door -- because LUCKILY I had my front door key (yeah, there's two diff keys) and LUCKILY I could open it...
