Flying down to NC
Finally, someone has designed a boarding pass. It's actually good-looking and easy to read. I should have taken a photo of it before the TSA guy scribbled on it, and I sat on it.
Down in NC to attend the society wedding of the season, Phil/boymeat and kathryntact.
My surgery has continued to be delayed, which has left me depressed, worried, and miserable. My sorry bag of bones has been punt-kicked from one specialist to another, from urologist to cardiologist, to thoracic surgeon, to now, I've just been informed, a pulminologist. Still, it has allowed me to travel and attend this wedding, but I'd really like to get the surgery done and be on the mend!
And tonight mudcub and I get to take out two of our best friends to dinner, Ed/tycho_anomaly and Jeff/hammerride. On past trips they've always been busy with one of their shows at Manbites Dog Theater, but for once they're between shows! But if you're in the area, this looks good coming up:
