Not the winner by any means, but I think it's fairly impressive. Several of the logos are especially beautiful (Kyoto's, and both of Tokyo's -- they're in alphabetical order with mouse rollover titles), and London's is especially iconographic. Paris' is pathetic compared to the older art nouveau entrances which it should be reflecting -- but most of the U.S. ones (Berkeley, San Diego, San Jose, even the new Amtrak one) are totally plug ugly. Lisbon's new modern logo references the city's hills. I love San Francisco's (MUNI), which references their Lombard Street, a street so steep, crooked, and narrow that no city bus could traverse it. Whereas New York's MTA logo looks like the train you just missed pulling out of the station.
