"Any scene that involves the Duc and Levasseur interacting - and anyone that involves the Duc and Fanchon interacting. I have to take up the priest's part, but I am not that ubiquitous."

"You're sure there's no one you can coerce into picking it up? Family members?"

"I did think of coercing Khardeen into it. I'm not convinced he won't turn me into a girl again, though."

Karla's good at turning off her witchy vibes. She's in a relationship with two landens, after all. She's still unnerving, but it's not bad. And he likes her sense of humor. And she pretends not to notice how nervous he is, which helps.
