[Sims] His father's son
So yeah, new expansion. SO MUCH better than World Adventures. So much.
I needed an arty sim to play with the new features, so I grabbed Christopher and Ianto's second eldest, Zach, and plopped him into the new town. I admit to not knowing him as well as some of my other sims, but I figured (most of) his traits would be useful. And, even though I think Rhys came out better looking, Zach is easily my most photogenic sim.
First he got a bit of a makeover.
I call this his "I don't live with Ianto anymore." look.
He also got a motorcycle.
And a trampoline.
Then I covered his walls with paintings he'd done and set him to cooking his favourite meal so he could have a little extra help with his mood until I got a better feel for how to keep him happy.
I'd ask if anyone ever told you not to play with your food, but I'm pretty sure your father taught you that trick.
Both the new crafting skills, sculpting and inventing, require scrap metal, so I sent Zach to the dump for a bit of a rummage.
My dear boy, do you really think digging at the bottom of that pile is wise?
In addition to scrap metal, he brings home things to blow up. (yes, this is a repeat)
I'm sure the neighbours love him.
When I'm playing a sim that isn't based on one of my characters, I use the Super Computer mod to give them 1 point gender preference for each gender. This makes them more likely to socialize autonomously. I then let them choose their mate, if they want one at all.
This is Terry.
Terry is a family oriented, hopeless romantic.
Zach spent a few weeks hitting on anyone (of proper age) that was breathing. I suppose this puts him slightly ahead of his siblings, since he didn't hit on any of the ghosts he met. Anyway, when he met Terry, he lost all interest in anyone else. After a few days of rolling nothing but romantic wants about Terry, Zach rolled a wish to paint his portrait.
This seemed safe enough, so I let him invite Terry over. Then I paused my game and went to get something to drink.
I came back to a cat sitting on the keyboard.
And a decidedly smug looking kittyelf.
Leave it to one of my sims to fall in love with the only gay, family oriented, hopeless romantic in town.
And yes, Zach's pregnant. Of course.
He never did paint that portrait.
