Oh, shit, I totally forgot that we have to do our thing before July 1st! What day of the week is the draft? (Round 1, anyway) That might be a good time to get together, if it is at all weekendly, to take care of the primery business, along with the drinking business, and the madly researching new baby Capitals with potentially mind-boggling, tongue-twisting names business. I'm rooting for Faksa myself. Hey, if there's a good chance that we're losing our Semin, we should at least get a good Faksa out of it! ;) Besides, Neuvy clearly has a secret plan to turn the team Czech and overtake the Russians and Swedes. Vokoun's departure set him back a bit.

But there's also the Zemgus Girgensons possibility, which will not only replace Knuble's departing Latvian-ness (already so depleted when Irbe left us), but give us a guy whose name starts with a Z, which is always fun. If D-men are more your bag, we should apparently hope to be so lucky as to have Dumba or Trouba fall to us, and that just makes me giggle. I'm still crying over Mike Knuble, so I don't even know. I keep waiting for the ax to fall on the other agents. WHY DID I EVER BECOME A FAN OF A TEAM SPORT, ESPECIALLY ONE AS CHANGEABLE AS THIS. Not even thinking about tender, new, baby Caps can cheer me up while I wait anxiously for Sasha news and mourn Grampa Slippers.

Well, now that I'll Have Another has withdrawn from the Belmont, I don't need to see it so much. I will come over to Kettler, if I can get there by 6, but I'll probably head to the bar to save us spots before the skate is over. Good thing we have hockey to watch!
