not at all. I... I know a lot of the posters at JP have reason to be negative, but some of the excessively negative people make me think, "Well, what the hell are you watching for, then? Go do something else you enjoy." They have the right to vent, but I think it's no worse to be optimistic.

And goddamn am I tired of people who say "this team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs." You know what? Shut the fuck up. Shit;s never all gonna be dependent on deserving or fairness, there's always going to be blown calls and things that just don't go your way, and sometimes both good things and bad things happen to people. Saying whether or not someone deserves it is just ridiculous, and the same goes for a team.

Gah, sorry, but that phrase just makes my blood boil and I've seen it so often over the past month. IT'S NOT ABOUT DESERVING. IF IT WAS, MAYBE 2009-2010 WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.
