Last week's weather made me think spring was just around the corner, and then it sucker-punched me in the kidney with snow and ice yesterday. Uncool, February. Very uncool. I have not the brain power for actually making a real post. Let's just throw some stuff all up in here and leave the real postings for later.

...see this has changed my perspective, now I think spilling applesauce was a lucky thing, in comparison! Fortunately, I have not had to deal with dog pee in cars; the only times we took the guest corgi driving, we had to mainly help him get into the car, and then drive smoothly enough so he wouldn't just fall off the seat. Which he still did, on occasion. (I admit, it was hilarious. He never seemed to mind.)

No lie, that's generally how the titling process goes down. The last three stories have been, like, "HOW WE GONNA DO THIS, LET'S USE iTUNES, OH DAMN IT IS A SONG ABOUT HOW HARD IT IS OUT HERE FOR A PIMP (no lie again, I was all set to title it with the first thing that came up and "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" was the song it produced) AND THAT WILL NOT WORK IN THIS CONTEXT."

Corgis are adorable. I have whiled away many a happy hour both watching our guest corgi and watching other corgis on youtube.

The more I think about it, the more fandoms I can somehow apply "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" to (Utena jumps to mind, as does FF8 for various reasons) but yeah, I used to lean towards the one word titles as well because I was much more impatient about posting finished work. Now I tend to let finished work sit around on my hard drive until I am less convinced it sucks or that I forget I finished it in the first place. Also, I developed a rather embarrassing penchant for using both lower case and parentheses, and that is simply no good to foster too heavily.

Man, I wouldn't rec my process to anyone. That way lies madness!

Well, we can always go back to the good old way of picking titles-- throwing darts at a dictionary.

Random tip about the dog pee smell in your car--we found out after having taken a cat to the vet and he had sprayed in the car, that if, no matter how much you clean it, it still smells like pee? There's not just the standard air filter you get replaced on occasion, but an air cabin filter that actually filters what gets sent through to the inside of the car. We had that replaced, and what was left of the smell disappeared.

Don't know if it will work for you, but it might help get the smell out of your car!
