Shall we whomp us together a music post? I do love the word "whomp." The sound of it is very evocative of the actual action.

Affair! Unless...have you noticed hair loss, or a sudden rash of sick days on her part recently? Otherwise, I'd say: affair!

I think she's actually trying to bring me in on a coupe to take down the CEO of our company! Whether she aims to do this by seducing me for my support, or threatening to take my organs if I do not back her, I am still deciding.

But hey: free trip to San Francisco.

My advice? Take it. You can always make up your own mind about the CEO-scam, but you can't pull a free trip out of any old hat.

Yeah, I'm pretty easy when it comes to bribery. If anything, this job has taught me the art of bribery is alive and thriving.

Jeez, maybe I should get into your line of work. No one tries to bribe me, dammit.

So far, I've gotten a ham, a bonsai tree, a bunch of medical textbooks, two massages, and several types of German chocolate!

Wow! Wait--a ham? Compared to the other offerings, that seems a little out of place. Was it supposed to be a Christmas ham, or something? Or perhaps we're talking about a comedian?

Totally a ham. It was a big surprise to me too.

I'm impressed. I hope someday I rate a whole ham! (Well, I don't actually like ham, so. Maybe some broccoli instead.)

Clearly the first step is to start shmoozing up to some vegetarians!

Hmmm, I wonder where the hunting grounds for hard-nosed vegetarians are? Maybe Brooklyn?
