I don't think I can finish this drabble before midnight, so I'm going to go for the short entry and drop some links again.

arxann is one of my favorite lj artists, particularly for the way she handles color, anatomy, and outlining. Some aspects of her style remind me of Mucha, and some day I plan to pay her loads of money to illustrate books for me. She was wonderfully kind enough to draw me a lovely picture to go with one of the recent FFVII drabbles, which you can see
here, along with another FF7 piece. You should definitely check out the rest of her art in the journal; there are tags to navigate but much of it is very easy to find. Go, marvel, and leave praise.

New clips and images for 9, the upcoming film from Tim Burton. I'm stoked for this movie, not only because Burton is a weird bastard, but because the movie just has such an intriguing look to it. Not your usual take on steampunk apocalypse, anyway. Here's the
full trailer for the movie. I admit, I might just be getting swayed by the Coheed and Cambria music.

Tycho, That Was Uncalled For. This is still one of my favorite
Kate Beaton comics, ever, followed closely by
Tesla,
Pope Action Comics,
Dope Times with John Paul II,
New Pope, and the
Archimedes drawing Flidget commissioned from her as a gift for Ann.

How to Start Your Own Country. Very handy.

Lucky, the Legless Turtle. Link courtesy of Twig. The final frontier of scientific might.
-So, I know everyone's heard about the
sparkly Twilight Vampire Dildo (put it in the freezer for the realistic touch, what the fuck? Sure thing! Ice cold vampire dong, that's totally what a girl wants!) but Twig found
life-sized vinyl Edward Cullen silhouette, that you can post in your bedroom to watch you while you sleep. Words fail me.
