No, dude, I love it that you're one of the only people who does non-angst very, very well. Like every time I read your work I get inspired to open up all these unfinished Word docs I have laying around and make them better.
Sorry about last night's crap feedback too. I was just leveled because I was eyeing my bedroom closet going, "I am so glad I brought Unfiltered with me to this podunk camp village" and then there you were.

Which is weird, because in 90% of my other fandoms, I love the angst. Anyway, it's mutual, because whenever I go back and read your things, it inspires me to work on the darker ones. (All, uh, two of them.)
Dude, no worries-- you have an exhausting new job and you must work hard for the moneys! Or something. That's kind of hilarious about the Unfiltered thing, though. God, I forgot how unintentionally funny that documentary is.

We need less angst, I'm convinced. I currently have something smothered in angst at beta, but I'm hoping to end it on an uplifting note. I don't much feel like angst is the way for me these days. :D
Again, this was so awesome. I just reread it. Oh, and I finally made Ashley read Johnny Cash in the Desert. I'm not sure if she saw it as the ultimate fanfic as I do, but I'm fairly sure she enjoyed it.

Output seems to be far less angsty this Olympics, thus far. I dunno, we'll see how things go a couple months from now. I saw your note about your beta-- I apologize, I'd have volunteered, but I'm swamped in meatworld work right now, and couldn't guarantee you a good turnaround time.
Probably for the best; when I try to mix the job editing with fanfiction editing, things tend to go horribly awry. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it when it comes out.
I'm glad she liked it! Huh, re-reading it myself, I see a bunch of stuff I would fix. I think that was the one I was late to the deadline on, so there's some bits that could have gone smoother. Ah, well. I'll always be grateful to you for putting on the ficathon, because there's no way I would have kicked my ass into finishing otherwise.

Nah dude, it's okay - as far as turnaround time goes, I am told I may not see it for quite some time anyway. It's 25 pages, aka, I never expect miracles due to my verbosity.
