Yeah, so as usual I'll be voting Labor this election. And hopefully this time so will most Australians. Make us more like the Swedes hopefully. Why anyone idolizes the decaying US is beyond me.
Not going back to the US either - at least, not for any connecting flights. Their bullshit when you're trying to fly around there and have a name on their DoNotFly list is exceedingly frustrating. They don't tell you what's wrong, they just keep taking your passport and disappearing with it for hours! Fuckers.
I've never been to an engagement party before, by the way. Except for as a kid with family, in Pakistan. I don't know anything about them. I always figured the presents and stuff people would bring on ones actual wedding day, but my mother said people usually give the presents at ones actual engagement party!
