So, apparently, my boss must think 'Hey I have finals this week so it'd be really nice if I could have slightly less hours' is code for 'Oh man let's give Stefanie way more hours than usual this week! 8DDD!'. O BOSS HOW I HATE YOU LET ME COUNT THE WAYS ♥! What pisses me off more is that someone who we recently hired who specifically likes working more hours had like... 4 hours. WH-WHAT NONSENSE IS THIS. To give my stupid stupid boss a teensy bit of double-edged credit... the schedule was obviously not done given that one of the nights I was... closing by myself. Which I can't do even if I wanted to as I do not have the power. Still, this was only yesterday when everything should have already been finalized so :/. Just. Meh.
Honestly I'd go and find another job right now if I had a better idea of where I was going to be in a month or two. I'd hate to be hired on somewhere else only to find out I'd be moving in a month or less. I just have to put up with Sir Stupid the Stupidest and be stroooong and comfort myself with the bi-monthly deposits in my bank account.
