hailey went to bed, so i have more time to write...
friday evening, i enjoyed the rare opprotunity to be a "kid" again. my family was in t-town for the gymnastics meet, and hailey went home with them, because i was one basketball ticket short for saturday afternoon. so, kara, nathan, (who also happened to have a sitter) chrissy (jake's sister) and i went bar hopping. we started out at the houndstooth, then went to the coppertop, then went to rythmn and brews, then back to the houndstooth, then to the venue (at my insistance...for the "all night dance party") and then to bug/embarrass jake at work. the vodka and sex on the beach was fabulous. the yager bomb, not so hot. i should have known not to drink something that i couldn't spell....not to mention to drink that after i knew i was much past my limit. lol...but appearntly i lost all my pool playing ability (if there was ever any there) after the shot. um, so that was fun. some random guy bought chrissy all these random tequilla shots, so she had a pleasent time in my bathroom after i went to bed. but, thankfully, she still wanted to go the basketball game...which we WON...and then we went to get hailey.
hailey finally cut her first tooth, so we are done with all the runny diapers/cranky baby days untill she starts to cut the next time. hailey is a very plesant child, so it was odd to see her fussy.
my internship is challenging, but enjoyable.
jake is taking me to a cabin in the woods for our late valentine's day getaway. our cabin is called the tree house and it is actually up in a tree. it looks cute. it has a hot tub. i guess we will see how that goes. i need to get away from tuscaloosa for a little bit.
hailey is going to nana's house while jake and i are away. i have never left her for a full weekend. i am nervous about that.
