yesterday, jacob and i went shopping together and actually had a good day. that's an accomplishment, because we usually get into knock down drag outs during or after shopping. that's because jake HATES it when i try on stuff..and he'll never tell me his honest opinion about the way things look. he would tell me something hedious looks good on me just to avoid actually looking at me and forming an honest opinion. but yesterday, he actually told me the truth about the way things looked. i think the key was buying all his clothes first and thean shopping for nme. so, i got some cute clothes that i really needed, hailey got some cute clothes that she did NOT need, and jake got some clothes that he did not need. but, it was a good day.
and now, i have been up since 6am, because that'ss when hailey wakes up. jake is sleeping because he sleeps in on the weekends. i'd like to sleep in on the weekends, too! i wonder why it's not a dad's job to take turns waking up with the baby?
